Cross-Cultural Study & College Curricula
  • Agora and MDF will work with partnering institutions around the world to bring students together to deepen their understanding of the history, peoples and movements portrayed in the film series. Agora and MDF will also finance a series of one to two-week excursions where students will learn first-hand from people who participated in events depicted in each film. For example, students from the US will travel to the Czech Republic to speak with Czech students and former leaders of the Velvet Revolution.
  • The project will incorporate curricula, targeted at college students, focusing on (among other relevant topics in each film) various democratic opposition movements.
